Salt & Vinegar Chicken Wings
- Prep time: 10 minutes
- Cooking time: 45 to 60 minutes
Start with one or two kilos of wings, wash then pat dry with a paper towel. The Spitmate junior roasting basket used in this blog could easily handle up to 3kg of wings.
Lightly coat with oil and mix through. Any oil will do, but we prefer the taste of Olive Oil.
Place the wings inside the Auspit Spitmate and secure them on the skewer by tightening the wing nut.
Roast over hot coals for 45 minutes to an hour, and let the Spitmate and hot coals do their magic.
When the wings are golden brown, remove the Spitmate from the skewer using heatproof gloves. Made from 304-grade stainless steel, the Spitmate is easy to clean and built to last like all Auspit accessories.
Place the wings inside a mixing bowl and lightly coat with Kosmos Q Salt and Vinegar Wing Dust and mix through. For stronger flavour, coat one more time. Kosmos Q Wing Dust is simply an amazing product and available in four delicious flavours – Salt & Vinegar, Kickin Cajun, Honey BBQ and Buffalo Hot.
Serve with your favourite dipping sauce and enjoy!
